## About Braidwater Rail

Braidwater Rail runs four lines and sixty-one stations along the coast and up the Tarn valley, carrying about nine million journeys a year. It is small enough that the people answering the passenger desk have walked every platform they are asked about. The promise it is judged on is simple: if the railway wastes your time, it pays for it — automatically where it can, and within five working days where a claim is needed.

**Founded** 1998
**Where we work** Braidwater · Cullen Bay · Ashwell Parkway · Tarnmouth
**How to reach a person** [passengers@braidwaterrail.example](mailto:passengers@braidwaterrail.example) · [+44 1620 550 118](tel:+441620550118)

### How the desk works

Live tickets with their reference, state and next step. A passenger can ask about any of them by reference and email, or sign in and see their own.

A ticket is looked up by its ticket number together with the email it belongs to — both,
always. A signed-in visitor skips that: the assistant reads their own tickets from
their identity and never asks for an address it has already been given.

### This is a demonstration

The Zendesk connection is on the roadmap, not in production — this page shows the assistant half of it working against seeded tickets so you can judge the experience before the connector exists. Nothing written here reaches a real system.
